While visiting Park City you may recall that
I mentioned our stop at the Utah Olympic Park.
We went back the next day to watch members
of the Freestyle and Aerial ski jumping teams practice.
Looks like fun, doesn't it?
Oh, and did I mention that the pool is not heated?
The guide estimated the temperature to be in the 40's!
But, hey, no problem.
Did you notice that the skiers are wearing their ski gear?
(They did have wet suits under their gear.)
Brrrrrrrrrrr! Looks scary and cold to me...of course, I don't like cold water, and I'm terrified of heights too! =)
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! I wish I had the guts to do something like that! But, like Beth, I am afraid of heights and I don't like cold water.
ReplyDeleteWhat a rush! lol!
ReplyDeleteI've always liked that entire area on the east side of those mountains. Such beautiful country to explore.

I wonder if they feel the thrill, or if they are busy thinking technical things - keep that shoulder down, etc. I hope they feel it.
