In deference to the youngsters in the racing scene,
Doc has generously given up his post position
to give one of them a chance at glory
in today's Kentucky Derby.
Run, horses, run!
Life is a highway.... I am living a dream as I travel and explore our world. What will I find around the next corner?
Have you ever thought of the meaning of "four"? Four is the number of: seasons in a year. corners and sides to a square. virtues....
In a previous life, I was big into horse racing. We would go to Saratoga every year. I used to pick jockeys rather than horses, though. It was fun. Great pic!!

As a young chicklett I would straddle the arm of the old stuffed rockin' chair and watch the races whippin' my imaginary horse to the finish line. Heeehehehe!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful picture...guess your watchin' the races today!

ReplyDelete-Flannery (-Horse crazy girl!)
LOL Hilarious picture. Don't worry, I'll be glued to the television, and I'm already wearing my t-shirt that says "Talk Derby To Me!"
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha! Go Doc go!
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever and funny photo! I naturally watched the race yesterday, even though the show seemed to be more about hats. Kind of like a British royal wedding.
ReplyDeleteFor the first time in 40+ years, I did not watch the Derby --- too engrossed in reading THE DAY THE WORLD CAME TO TOWN, which relates the impact of Sept. 11, 2001 on Gander, Newfoundland.

It must be an engrossing book, then. I'll have to check it out!
DeleteOh my gosh, love the picture!! How did you do that???
ReplyDeleteLOL It was a crude bit of photo shopping, I actually did it a few years ago and resurrected it! Glad you liked it!
