* OK... I know I should use 'finished'... my English teacher friend made sure our students knew(and the lesson stuck with me as well) that potatoes are 'done' and people finish things.
But I wanted it to rhyme!
Sorry, Ms. English Teacher!

Ooh, those are lovely! I have some chairs I SERIOUSLY need to re-do. They are antique oak with those awful padded seats. I want to remove the pads, strip and sand the whole thing and repaint them, much like you've done with yours. A couple of them need minor repairs and right now, they are "living" in the basement waiting for a refinish before I'll allow them to be seen.
ReplyDeleteI just need to find the time!
They look beautiful..you are very talented! I love that they are different colors..is the fourth one black? That is quite a project! :)
ReplyDeleteMy teacher would say: "cakes and bakes are done, people are finished." I've never forgotten it!
ReplyDeleteand btw- wonderful job with your chairs!!
Very pretty! I like the different colors...they compliment each other so well.
