Sadly, I think 'caramelized' doesn't work with carrots. I believe you just call these 'burned'. But, heck, they are still OK on top!

Candied carrots...one of my favorites!

ReplyDeleteI prefer my carrots raw too. But the sweets thing....I gave sweets up for Lent. And I'm missing them right now. I did cheat yesterday. I had one of those chocolate Whethers candies. OMG YUM.

You've got to try Pioneer Woman's Whiskey-Glazed Carrots...you'd LOVE them. Butter whiskey, brown sugar salt, pepper...and of course carrots. Talk about sweet! YUM!
