Hey boys! It's time for dinner.
A zoomed-in photo of the boys where they were standing
when I called. Notice Pippin's reaction.

Pippin doesn't miss a thing, especially when it comes to food!
Doc seems to wonder, 'What's the hurry?'
that plush dry, hardscrabble bit of pasture.
Did you say 'dinner'?!
Didnt need to "Biggify" that last photo lol!
ReplyDeleteHa! I've got a computer full of pix like that last one. Sadly, that's why I can never get good video of them playing.
ReplyDeletehahahaha too cute! Doc isn't saying "what's the hurry" he's saying "Pippen you go make sure it really is dinner time and not some ploy to get us to work!"
ReplyDeleteMine come running! The earth shakes when they think they are getting food or treats.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
That's for sure. This Ozark Farm Chick knows how smart critters are when it comes to gettin' some great vittles!!!!
ReplyDeleteGod bless ya'll from the happy hills and hollers of the Missouri Ponderosa!!! :o)
They've got a long ways to run for their dinner. Do you make them sing for it too?
ReplyDeleteFood is a good incentive! :) I would love to see a mountain like that from my yard!!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! It was fun to see your Pikes Peak view - similar to ours, but it looks like you are closer to it.
ReplyDeleteYou asked about cactus at our place, and yes, we have cactus in the horse pasture. We have lots of little tiny round hen-and-chicks cactus, and some prickly pear. We've never had a thorn in a horse, but I've tried to dig out all the prickly pear. I still find one from time to time, but I've got most of them. The little tiny round cacti are no problem. I actually knelt on one taking the mushroom photo, and the thorns didn't penetrate my jeans.
Super cute :) Can't be late for dinner!
ReplyDeleteHey girl, I just wanted to pop over and thank you for your visit and hoppin' on my blog. I sure hope ya'll enjoy the ride.
ReplyDeleteGod bless and in the words of the wild and crazy Granny Clampett, "ya'll come back now...ya hear!!!" :o)
The dinner whistle usually results in a stampede at our house *grin*. Breakfast? Not so much, but I'm thinking that's because we're all trying to get our eyeballs open. Too funny ;o)
