Do you see him? That's Pippin peeking around the corner. He is telling me that the sun has been up for hours (he tends to exaggerate) and that he is starving - another example of horse hyperbole.
Just checked...yup. He is still there, watching me. Those deep, soft haffie eyes are boring into my soul.
OK! OK! I get it. I'll be right out.
Our animals certainly have a way of guilting us into feeding them, don't they? That's probably why all of my cats are a little on the round side.
ReplyDeletelol! They say that horses can communicate with us without words. In the case of food, I totally agree.
ReplyDeleteI can be in the house, not even near a window, and I can sense that my horse is telling me to come out and feed her.
And then I look out a window and there she is staring down at the house.lol!

How cute. I've never had a horse, but I have two dogs and they are both a bit on the round side. The little one, when he first came to us he was scrawny and had very little hair. Now he is plump and VERY hairy. Funny how they communicate without saying a thing!

Hahahaha! He's got your number !
ReplyDeleteHaflingers are even better at reading minds, I think.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. I notice you have no reply comments.
Your window almost feels like it's on a 3rd story.
ReplyDeleteNuz-Muz: you are so observant. The window is on our "2nd" story but, since we are on a hill and have a walk-out basement, it really is like a third story at the back of the house.
ReplyDeleteReggie is our lookout horse. He knows when we are sleeping, he knows when we're awake...
ReplyDeleteEver since we moved and turned them out on round bales, there is one thing I dont miss..
ReplyDeleteand thats those looks you captured there of "WHERE ARE THEY??? I FEEL AN ULCER COMING ON!!! MAYBE I SHOULD RUN AND KICK AND GET CRAZY AND THEY WILL NOTICE ME!! MY TUMMYS GRUMBLY!! WHERE ARE THEY? DID I SEE MOVEMENT AT THEIR DOOR??
gosh i dont miss that one bit lol!
haha cute post : )
ReplyDeleteLove how she's staring at you insistently from the field, sending FEED PLEASE vibes with determination! One of my dogs does the same thing and it is hilarious
