I am enjoying a beautiful Saturday morning.
It rained last night.
The sun is shining.
The plants are reveling in the moisture and warmth from the sun.
They are in blossom.
I've been imagining a bountiful harvest of apples and cherries.
(Last year we had a late freeze that killed most of the flower buds.)
The birds are singing.
Tomorrow....
All Hell breaks loose.
I hope the meteorologists are wrong!
Don't mind me if I wine a bit...
I know about the weather thing! It has gone completely nuts! We had snow not too long ago and now we are having wind storms every day it seems. Howling wind, the Wrangler shaking on the freeway, me telling hubby to please hold on to the wheel with both hands, maybe omitting the"please" and it is cold too after a very warm winter. I love your wining!
ReplyDeleteIt was really windy when we were in CA - and we've had some wicked winds, too. Today, (with the snow) they say the winds could get up to 35 mph!
DeleteAnd here you thought you escaped winter:(
ReplyDeleteYup! I guess that serves me right, eh?!
DeleteWhat's with the crazy weather???? So you know Baaxter Black. I loved your contribution.
ReplyDeleteBaaxter Black is the cutest! I love the X on his face!
DeleteHaha! I just finished posting on the exact same thing!
ReplyDeleteWe do have crazy weather. It gives us something to talk about... right?!
DeleteOh! You just reminded me...I need to bring in my one flowering hanging basket. I hope your beautiful plants and trees fare well through this storm.
ReplyDeleteIsn't this weather insane?! Stay warm as you take care of your equine friends.
Deletesnow? This late in the year? It's chilly here , but snow in May is amazing.
ReplyDeleteSadly, yes... snow! It is snowing now. The rain turned to snow around 9 AM. We'll just have to see how much collects.
