The wind blew it down a few days ago.
I wonder....if I replace it with my 'spring' barn quilt,
will the weather turn warm?
We did see some Robins passing through.
They certainly didn't get a good weather predication for traveling!
After the barn quilt blew down, I brought it into the house.
Our irrigation system had run,
and got it wet.
I think the system was trying to improve on my work.
Do you see it?
Here's a close up:
The minerals in the water left tiny white spots on the blue background,
making it look like it's a snowy night.
I think it is vastly improved!
Speaking of snowflakes....we have heard a few rumblings
that we may get some flurries over the weekend. Oh, my!
Will you Floridians survive snow? I've seen a few old barns with barn quilts.
ReplyDeleteWe were originally from NY....so we will manage! There are several areas where they have 'quilt trails' where an organization has created maps to show where the quilts can be found. We enjoyed seeing many, especially when we were in the midwest.
DeleteOh, but just because we were originally from NY....that doesn't mean I won't whine about it!
DeleteI love your barn snowflake and that you made it! Yes, the tiny white dots now look like wee snowflakes and how perfect is that?
ReplyDeleteHugs!
My NH bff challenged me to make something. When we bought the house the previous owners had a metal start between the windows. I really like it, but they took it with them. I was cruising Hobby Lobby, while talking to bff. I couldn't find a metal wall hanging, and she piped up, showing some derision that I hadn't thought about the fact that I could make something! OMG She was right, and I now have 4 different ones. Some day I'll paint a few more
DeleteI love seeing barn quilts as I travel around different areas. I have never seen a snowflake before yours. It's beautiful and now it sparkles!
