On our recent trek to NC I noticed something on the road up ahead that didn't look....normal!
It wasn't!
This pear shaped vehicle turns out to be a moped with a pear shaped covering made from 2 x 4's and aluminum cans. The owner/designer/driver is on his way across country. We passed Glubbey on US 301 just before the GA state line. I found a recent article at Road & Track, where they interviewed the owner/designer/driver in Chattanooga, TN - so he is making progress! I would have thought it wouldn't be legal on the roads. The guy is creative!
