We belong to the Civic Association, which runs a monthly dinner and BINGO. Neither of us are huge BINGO aficionados, but it gets us out to see other folks and have an inexpensive evening of fun(?)!
Dinner and BINGO cost the princely sum of $11 each.
This month's dinner was 2 hot dogs, a bowl of beans, chips and ice cream for dessert.
You can't argue with that price!
well, maybe not!

Daubers are at the ready.
I silently appeal to the BINGO Gods to announce a number I can use.
It rarely works.
Another month /year of not being able to call out "BINGO"!
For me, it was definitely BING-NO!
I don't think I have ever played bingo. This is a good way to enter into a new community.
ReplyDeleteIt's mindless fun.
DeleteOur daughter and her friend play Bingo on a monthly basis. They even have their own bingo bags!!!
ReplyDeleteI have seen some of those BINGO bags....I dont think I need one, at least not yet!
DeleteI used to take my Dad to Bingo every Thursday night, he loved it! I have been to Bingo just once since he died. I do enjoy the game:)
ReplyDeleteWe always enjoy the chatter...but I get anxious when I'm close to winning and I know that someone is going to shout out BINGO any second.
DeleteMy sister's gymnastics team hosted Bingo nights weekly as a fundraiser for their team. Jay and I went maybe once a year, just to support the team. It was anything but cheap! We paid per card and any snackies had to be purchased from the snack counter. The last time we went (probably ten years ago), it cost us $80!!! I told my sister next time, I was just going to skip the Bingo and just give the team $80, lol.
