Put the Pieces Together

Despite a bungled delivery, and due to Mr.'s generosity in driving back to the house to rescue the shipment from the rain, it arrived safely.
Fed Ex was supposed to put a "vacation hold" on delivery for 2 days. Despite 2 calls, and acknowledgements that it would not be delivered on Saturday, my phone dinged with a picture of my package sitting at the gate. We were in a meeting almost an hours away.

Sorting screws, with only a bit of whine.

The girls want to help me put a screw into the cabinet

Maybe whining wasn't such a good idea

Ta-daaa!

  1. Nice! Deliveries can be a pain in the butt, luckily my brothers live next door so they help out if we are gone.

    1. You are lucky. We have no one next door, or across the street. But, we like that, except when we need someone to accept a package or let someone in, etc. There are tradeoffs!

  2. I love it!

We are also very lucky with our living situation. We share property with a friend/found family member, and she's always willing to take deliveries for us. It's a huge benefit. We live rurally, so getting things delivered is a pain to begin with!
