This was listed on the local Next Door Site. It made me laugh!
"I hatched some eggs in May and ended up with too many roosters. I can't keep them all. They work well as an alarm clock and they would love to have their own flock of hens."
Let me know if you would like one and I'll see if there are any more available!
That made me smile, what a clever way to describe the roosters! It’s always fun to see humor and practicality combined like that, turning a surplus of roosters into a “natural alarm clock.” It’s a lighthearted reminder that even the little quirks of life can bring joy. I’d be glad if you also take a moment to read some of my latest posts.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it brought a smile! I did check out your latest post - such beautiful scenery!
DeleteHaha, yeah, great alarm clock if you'd like to be awakened at 3 AM. Our neighbors across the street several years ago had a rooster. Not legal in the city limits, but they didn't seem too concerned about the legality. I was ready to turn that rooster into dinner, but then one day he was just gone. Maybe he was given away as an a alarm clock?
ReplyDeleteSomeone near us has a rooster (and they aren't allow in our community!) Luckily he isn't loud enough to wake me...as we all know roosters only crow 'cause they feel like it, no matter the time of day!
DeleteThat is funny!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, the gal has a good sense of humor!
