Great pictures! So much fun to look through them all :)luckybunnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17663313808544386765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6816015196790632629.post-58316332927324218732012-02-17T19:10:53.573-07:002012-02-17T19:10:53.573-07:00A couple of years ago, I purchased a scanner/print...A couple of years ago, I purchased a scanner/printer with software that corrected for dust, scratches, & faded color --- and it had a template for 35mm slides that allowed me to scan 4 slides at a time. It took a month (or more) for me to scan the slides from the late 1940s and early 1950s that my father took. This past year I contracted with an AV company to convert the surviving 8mm home movies to DVD so each of my sibs could have their own copies.

IMHO, in this digital age, there is no reason why a sole copy of family "treasures" reside with just one of us. Keep scanning and creating captions as you (or your father) may have info that no one else remembers!

AnneAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6816015196790632629.post-76115853355070865582012-02-17T17:37:33.589-07:002012-02-17T17:37:33.589-07:00Brings back so many memories. I grew up with hockey skates as well. Remember my first pair of figure skates and crashing big time face first.Camrynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12696952736180900465noreply@blogger.com
