I'm of German descent yet I had no idea finding a nest would bring me good luck. I'm SO excited! I find nests all the time - I think I'm set, luck-wise, for at least the next few years. :-) :-)Dannihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12623233206043947281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6816015196790632629.post-33331801495491176782011-12-10T19:49:37.434-07:002011-12-10T19:49:37.434-07:00We always have a real tree, but this year my Norfo...We always have a real tree, but this year my Norfolk Island Pine may do the job with my collection of miniature ornaments.Terryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13944121836337072178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6816015196790632629.post-32803750486975028122011-12-10T18:03:04.417-07:002011-12-10T18:03:04.417-07:00We get a real tree every year, but this year we ha...We get a real tree every year, but this year we have not even started Christmas stiff yet. Not sure why. . .maybe because Christmas stuff has been in the stores since September?

One ornament we do have is a pickle. Supposedly it is a Polish tradition to hide the pickle in the tree.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02168070368360018750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6816015196790632629.post-31859359187701736682011-12-10T13:14:12.238-07:002011-12-10T13:14:12.238-07:00No bird's nest. Next weekend perhaps? Haven't had a real tree since our male Great Dane marked one when the kids were little. Funny now, not so much then LOL
And, yes we do have a birds nest. Actually two one is made entirely of my former bay TWH mane/tail. Had found it blown out of a tree a few years back.Camrynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12696952736180900465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6816015196790632629.post-82813535367874996342011-12-10T11:13:42.894-07:002011-12-10T11:13:42.894-07:00I love that bird's nest. My daughter gave us a hard time one year for not trying really hard. We put up a tiny fiber optic tree and that's about it. The ornaments are in boxes being guarded by black widows. I was hoping to get my son's help in decorating this year, so that when my daughter comes home she won't be disgusted with our laziness.Nuzzling Muzzleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07649710635013663900noreply@blogger.com
