He is sleeping a lot - probably a reaction to pain, as well as to all of the new things he is encountering. He has begun to put a little weight on it. The vet said he'd be healed in 2 weeks...probably before. Poor pup, but he seems to be handling it we...Awwww. Poor pup, but he seems to be handling it well. I once had a wild cat get up on my garage door when it was up. I drove off, pushing the button to lower the garage door without knowing the cat was up there. I came home and found this cat leg sticking out of the top of the garage door. When I opened the door, the whole cat fell out and ran off dragging its broken leg behind it. I caught it and took it to the vet, and he said he didn't want to do anything for it, but to let it heal on its own. I said, "I can't do that. It'll be coyote food."
