You are just so dang funny. But I'm reall...lol! You are just so dang funny. But I'm really glad that tumbleweed didn't cause any more damage to you than it did.
Dang Tumbleweeds is dangerous things!

Let me tell you about the time I had just moved to New Mexico....oh some 19 years ago. I had just started working on the ramp for the airlines and one day I was driving a tug with baggage carts stuffed with boxes of mail, across the tarmac to the mail house.
When all of a sudden, a huge jumble of tumbleweeds, about the same size as a VW Bug, came rolling and tumbling right into the side of my head.

The darn thorny thing scraped up my eye and face so bad that I had to file an On the Job Injury (OJI) report, which got sent to our hub city of Pittsburgh (which just so happens not to have any tumbleweeds rolling around or blowing into poor hapless airline ramp employees, at all. So of course, the OJI was looked at with disbelief and suspicion!).
That evil mass of thorny tumbleweeds ended up scratching my cornea and gave me a week off from work.
Yep, that was my New Mexico Welcoming Committee.

I really dislike tumbleweeds.

~Lisa

ps My favorite musical is My Fair Lady. I have watched it countless times and I never tire of it....and I always sing along to all the songs, too!Laughing Orca Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03562627840013868980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6816015196790632629.post-49149507816111673292012-04-19T22:40:59.196-06:002012-04-19T22:40:59.196-06:00So glad you are ok! The last three times I came off a horse was just about 40 years ago..three times in the same day about a week after I had given birth..it was my brothers horse..and I was in a plowed field...the last time I was thrown I walked the horse back to the pasture and just let him go and told my brother to sell him. I was so sore.
Those tumbleweeds are wicked..try some lunge line work with some..have Doc walk over them:)Far Side of Fiftyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07995757632158408442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6816015196790632629.post-73990738580983103062012-04-19T21:19:16.049-06:002012-04-19T21:19:16.049-06:00Ouch!
