The Bus is Back

We returned home yesterday. After numerous trips back and forth between the motorhome and the house, the house is a wreck. I have piles everywhere. Clothes. Laundry. Groceries. Art stuff. Dog stuff. Cleaning stuff. I don't think you need a picture to understand what it is like!

This winter's trip was a bit complicated. Last fall, we Dreamers went on a fabulous trip along the west coast. Knowing that the motorhome needed some work that could best be accomplished at the factory service center in Red Bay, Al, we Dreamers left the motorhome in Albuquerque, NM at the end of October, and traveled by car to our home in Colorado. Mr. Dreamy spent a day running around like a crazy guy getting all kinds of chores accomplished, then went back to Albuquerque. He motored on to Red Bay, AL, and then enjoyed Thanksgiving with his family near Jacksonville, FL. He left the motorhome there, at a dealer for more work (What??? Didn't I just say it left the factory service center?! Long story that no one wants to hear!) Mr. Dreamy drove home in the car, enjoying 28 days over the holidays, and then we drove back to reconnect with our rolling home in Florida.

We spent most of January in Florida, then made our way to Arizona, after stopping to visit with friends in Texas... and now... home!

Tucker seemed to become aware we were nearing home as we drove through town, about 3 miles from our house. As we pulled into the gates, he jumped off his bed and came up to the front of the motorhome to take a good look. He knew exactly where he was!

Well, I really need to get back to the piles, shift a load from the washer to the dryer, and get lunch. I'll be posting more about our trip over the next few days weeks months!

Happy Spring - the snowbirds have returned!

I am in love with our home and property. I feel so fortunate that Mr. Dreamy discovered it and pursued it.
