Moving Along

We have finally finished the move;

rocks,

socks,

 and harrow!!

(Isn't that how the saying goes?!)

Our 'old' house is empty - totally barren and devoid of any of our things (except for the possibility of a Tucker hair or two that escaped the thorough vacuuming and carpet cleaning!)

Furthermore, the house is sold!

The deal is signed,

sealed,

and delivered!

We had the closing yesterday. Everyone is happy. (Oh, and the new owner said our house was 'immaculate' - omg - my mother is doing a happy dance in her grave - her daughter has finally learned how to clean!)

The buyers love their new house  and we love that it is no longer our house!
It's a win-win for everyone!

  6. Something wrong with moving rocks?! If you lived 'on the plains' you might understand! Although there are plenty of rocks in the mountains, there are none here. We bought... yes, you read that correctly.... we spent money to get some landscape rocks. We never did anything with them, so Scott picked them up with the tractor and we brought them here!!!

  7. Awesome. Can you get some of your good luck to rub off on me? I'm still waiting for an offer that will stick on my mother's house. Yesterday I was driving down the cross street in front of my house and became aware that literally every other house was up for sale, and some of those houses have been for sale for years. I was so distracted by all the For Sale signs that I didn't slow down fast enough when moving from a 35 MPH zone into a 25 MPH zone, and an NHP officer chased me. As soon as I spotted him, I braked to get down to 25 immediately, and he pulled a U-turn to go back to his hiding spot to catch the next speeder.
