Dinnnnerrrr!

Hey boys! It's time for dinner.

A zoomed-in photo of the boys where they were standing
when I called. Notice Pippin's reaction.
Pippin doesn't miss a thing, especially when it comes to food!

Doc seems to wonder, 'What's the hurry?'

Eeyore Doc watching to see if it is really worth leaving
that plush dry, hardscrabble bit of pasture.

Did you say 'dinner'?!

  2. Ha! I've got a computer full of pix like that last one. Sadly, that's why I can never get good video of them playing.

  8. Very cute! It was fun to see your Pikes Peak view - similar to ours, but it looks like you are closer to it.
You asked about cactus at our place, and yes, we have cactus in the horse pasture. We have lots of little tiny round hen-and-chicks cactus, and some prickly pear. We've never had a thorn in a horse, but I've tried to dig out all the prickly pear. I still find one from time to time, but I've got most of them. The little tiny round cacti are no problem. I actually knelt on one taking the mushroom photo, and the thorns didn't penetrate my jeans.

  11. The dinner whistle usually results in a stampede at our house *grin*. Breakfast? Not so much, but I'm thinking that's because we're all trying to get our eyeballs open. Too funny ;o)
